Secure Scaffolding Pty Ltd was founded in 1996 as a labour hire company with just two crews of scaffolders. By early 1997, we were entrusted with major projects such as the Wood Chopping Arena and Horticultural Building at the New Sydney Showgrounds for Hansen Yuncken. We also partnered with AW Edwards for scaffold and rigging works, rapidly growing our workforce to 24 skilled professionals.

 

By 2000, we had completed all unit blocks in the Olympic Village for Mirvac Constructions and many other significant projects for major builders. Our team expanded to 40 scaffolders, including 8 who were contracted to the French company Nussli, building the Volleyball Stadium at Bondi Beach for the Sydney Olympics. After this, Nussli offered us opportunities for international work.

Post-Olympics, Secure Scaffolding continued its upward trajectory, securing contracts with major companies such as Boral, PCH, Mirvac, and Multiplex. We also commenced the retrofit of the athletes' village with Newington Homes. In 2001, we won the first stage of post-Olympic housing, delivering 45 homes. From that point forward, we secured every housing contract for the project, which was completed in November 2008, with a contract value exceeding $10 million.

In 2001, we expanded into scaffolding hire and transportation services with the launch of Secure Domestic Safety Access Pty Ltd.

In 2024, we rebranded as Secure Scaffolding Services Pty Ltd, continuing our dedication to excellence while steadily enhancing our services. We remain committed to the same high standards of reliability that have defined our company for decades.
